To help keep you even more informed during unplanned outages, we’re trialling an enhanced outage notification service in the CitiPower network.
The trial is an upgrade to CitiPower’s existing notification service and will feature a personalised map, updates on the repair crew’s estimated arrival time, the fault location, repair status, and estimated power restoration time.
New and upgrading solar customers are now required to install a system that allows solar exports to be remotely reduced or for generation to be stopped if there’s an excess of energy in the network.
In 2024-2025, all Australian households will receive a $300 rebate on their electricity bill from the Australian Government. Eligible small businesses will receive a $325 rebate.
The rebate will automatically be paid in quarterly instalments via your electricity retailer. Households in embedded networks will be eligible via an application process managed by the Victorian Government.
