That’s why we’re backing the CitiPower Centre, the flagship training ground at St Kilda’s historic Junction Oval that’s essential as to community cricket.
Whether it’s your first wicket or you play professionally, the CitiPower Centre is a hub for anyone who believes in the sport, where you’re only ever an arm’s length away from the legends of the game.
The state-of-the-art facilities, including 56 outdoor wickets, ten indoor lanes, a gym, and aquatic centre, are all open to the public.
We also go into bat for the annual All Abilities Cricket Carnival, supporting teams from diverse backgrounds, including deaf, blind and intellectually disabled players, plus the game’s rising Indigenous stars.
We’ve also invested $380,000 through our CitiPower and Cricket Victoria Canteen Grant, because we believe no one should have to compromise on safety in their club canteen. That means colder drinks for the fans, fresher oranges for the players, and hotter pies for club parties.
