Field contractors

It is a requirement that all field contractors are approved to work on our network.

As a Field Services Contractor, we will give you the tools and resources to onboard new contractors and request changes to your existing workforce.

The Field Services Contractor Automation (FSCA) App is available to directly request to onboard or change your contractors.

If you would like to use the FSCA App, or need further support, please contact our team at contractorenquiries@powercor.com.au

Important contractor documents

    Apply to be a supplier

Small, medium and large organisations are all eligible to become suppliers of CitiPower and Powercor.

Registering your company details does not pre-qualify you as a CitiPower and Powercor supplier nor does it guarantee that you will be contracted by CitiPower and Powercor’s procurement team to tender for goods and/or services.  However, it will make CitiPower and Powercor aware of your stated ability to supply and will provide sufficient information to enable us to form a good initial assessment of your capabilities.

If you would like more information to be considered as a possible supplier to CitiPower and Powercor, please email procurement@powercor.com.au.

    Supplier procedures, terms and conditions

There is a comprehensive assessment process undertaken prior to awarding any supplier with a CitiPower and Powercor contract, including customer references background checks on current and past financial positions and Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards and policies. When new products or services are identified, or when an existing contract is to be re-offered, we initiate a procurement process for the supply of goods or services within a prescribed framework.

If you submit a tender, you will be notified by CitiPower and Powercor Procurement about whether you have been successful or unsuccessful in the Tendering process.

We operate on behalf of a wide range of businesses units. Therefore, we have a number of different terms and conditions for the procurement of goods and services. These may vary from time to time, dependent on different categories and business areas of CitiPower and Powercor. View our CitiPower and Powercor minimum Terms and Conditions.

    Supplier Code of Conduct

CitiPower and Powercor views its suppliers as partners and cares about the way our suppliers do business.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct here sets out the minimum standards of behaviour that CitiPower and Powercor expects its suppliers to meet in the areas of labour and human rights, health and safety, environment, business integrity, cyber security and privacy, and supplier diversity.

Suppliers, customers, or members of public can report a conflict of interest or labour incident to CitiPower and Powercor. Information provided will be used to help CitiPower and Powercor learn from incidents to prevent reoccurrence, monitor compliance and appropriately manage our relationships.

It is important to us that anyone can report concerns about illegal, unethical or improper conduct. CitiPower and Powercor’s confidential and anonymous whistleblowing service.

    Service installation rules

To comply with our regulations, we need our suppliers to observe these important Service Installation Rules.

Victoria Service and Installations Rules provide standards for distributors, such as CitiPower and Powercor, and other service providers.

These rules, set by the Victoria Service Installation Rules Management Committee, help us to comply with our regulatory obligations.

If you’d like a hard copy of the Service Installation Rules, you can call Information Victoria on 1300 366 356. The rules are also available from electrical contractor and inspection organisations, and from most electrical wholesalers.

Our suppliers and contractors must also observe the requirements we’ve set for Interval Meter Installations, along with the Victorian Service and Installation Rules. Review the Metering Wiring document for specific requirements when working in a CitiPower or Powercor network.

    Test reports

Please note that these Commissioning Test Reports are also held in the Contractor Portal. If you are a new user, you may need to request access via the form on the Registered Electrical Contractor resources page.

The forms here will be available on this website until December 2021.
