CitiPower is installing new underground power cables to support growth in the Kew area and enable more capacity in the growing local network.

Project Outcomes

Works

CitiPower is completing underground power cable connections along Charles Street, Hansen Street, College Place, Glenferrie Road and Fitzwilliam Street in Kew. These works will be completed between October – December 2024.

What to expect

Electricity supply will be maintained, there are no planned outages during these works.
Works will include digging up parts of the road to install and connect underground cables.
Some of this work will be noisy.

Current work schedule:

Charles Street & College Place: 9-13 December
Fitzwilliam Street: 16-17 December
